So, I've been M.I.A.
Like, super duper flying under the radar (aside from engaging in my private group). "Retrograde" in the sense that I pulled back significantly to do some inner work and lick clean some old wounds.
The last time I went live was, to the day, exactly a year and a half ago. It was during the 8/8 full moon in Leo, where I held a guided meditation and pulled some cards to help us navigate the “Lion’s Gate” energy.
What’s kinda funny, I’m realizing, is that the numerology for that date, the last day I was on video, was Aug 9, 2017...so, not only was that a day 9 in the calendar, but it was a universal day 9! 8+9+2017 = 9. As you may or may not know, the 9 is the number of completion, so...it was meant to be.
Needless to say, some of you guys have been wondering where in the world I’ve been. If you’ve followed me for a while, you’ll know that back in the day I used to hold nightly Google hangouts...YES, NIGHTLY. As in every. single. night. We’d talk mysticism, we’d have presentations like “The Spirituality in Star Wars” and generally hang out and keep each other company.
Then, my already-busy life got busier, and I realized I simply didn’t have the time to keep this going while keeping a roof over my head as a freelancer. Deep down, I knew that I was giving too much of myself away, but this was something I wasn’t fully, consciously aware of. After all, a natural giver, it's hard to analyze the part of yourself that says "yes" to everything.
So, hangouts dwindled down to about twice a week...then once a week..and then NUNCE a week.
If you’ve followed me for a while, you’ll also know that I also used to do twice-weekly oracle readings, every Monday and Friday (sometimes even pulling cards and doing free readings on air). What happened there?
Same thing. I got burnt out.
And, to be honest, I got a little bitter...a little discouraged, because I wasn’t getting any return for what I did. I believe in balance, in equilibrium, and when you have people asking you for free readings rather than offering you a fair exchange, it is anything but balanced. It's disheartening. Not a lot of spiritual, mystical people are going to admit to that, but I will be honest.
In giving too much of yourself away, you attract those who are more than willing to take those parts of yourself and ask for MORE than what you’re already providing.
SO. Why am I ready to come out of retrograde and go "direct," so to speak? ;)
There are various reasons; feeling that I’m in a better place spiritually and mentally, feeling more aligned in the mystic realms, but mainly because I’ve realized something...
Everything I do always comes back to teaching.
Every time I do a chakra treatment, oracle reading, astrology reading, or numerology reading, I always feel the urge to almost over-give information so that the person receiving the reading feels empowered by the insights, is better able to take matters into their own hands, and feels much more in touch with their own intuition.
SO, so. I am in the process - and this is really scary to say out loud, because then it puts even more pressure on this huge undertaking - but I’m seriously excited to announce that I am working on an astrology basics course, Let's Get Astrological, that'll be launching in the spring. You've asked to be taught, so here it is.
I’m stoked to finallllly be doing this, and for offering something that I feel will be SO useful to you without giving too much of myself away. Finding that balance by embracing the teacher, student dynamic and opening myself up to abundance. Asking the universe, the higher power, to provide me with what I need in order to provide you with what you want - to learn, to speak the language of the planets and the stars, and to open the doorway to miraculous discoveries of the self.
Rest assured that you will be seeing much more of good 'ol Mars...while I’m knee-deep in course development, I will be doing informative videos, full moon oracles, and other mystical stuff. I want to have fun, you want to have fun, and you undoubtedly want to add more tools to your mystic toolbox. So, stick around.
