Pretty intimidating if you don't speak astro, no?

Here’s the thing…

You know the great solvable puzzles of the human experience? They are like reading Greek if we don’t know what we’re looking for. (Unless, of course, you happen to live in Athens. In that case, they are like English.)

As a mystic and certified energy therapist who balances chakras, has hundreds of guided meditation sessions under her belt, and uses many different divination methods, I was surprised at the frustrations that came up when I tried to learn the astro ropes.

It was a whole new world - one that I wasn’t sure I had time for. Plus, there are enough astrologers in the world, right? Who needs another one?

Rather than give in to overwhelm and the persistent “I’m never gonna learn this shit,” however, I summoned up the gifts that my Gemini sun, Sag moon, Scorpio rising gifted me and I dived in.

And then, it all started to click.

I’m not gonna lie - it took time. Also, red, bleary eyes, and some up-til-dawn nights. BUT, I stuck to it and, well, devoured it.

I’m also not going to do the whole “If I can do it, then anyone…” thing. (I’ve never resonated with that self-deprecating statement.) 

Anyone can go it alone, yes, but it takes a special kind of person to admit when they need help. And an even special-er one to realize that their unique contribution is needed in this crazy-bananas world.
